The website
The website has no forms and no analytics tools, and we set no cookies. The fonts are served from our own server, so no one else learns about your visit in order to display the page.
The provider that hosts the website processes technical data such as IP address, time and which page was requested. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it against misuse. The data is kept for a short period in the provider’s logs.
The Shortcut tool remembers the theme and language you have chosen in your browser. The choice stays with you and is not sent to us.
When you get in touch
If you email or call us, we process what you give us, such as name, email address, phone number and the content of the enquiry. We use it to reply and follow up. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), or that the processing is needed to enter into or perform an agreement with you (Article 6(1)(b)).
We delete enquiries when we no longer need them, unless the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act or other law requires us to keep them longer.
If you would like to join the team, we use the information only to consider your enquiry. We delete it when that is done, unless you agree that we may keep it.
The HULC app and client work
Figures and information we receive in a client engagement, and the login to the HULC app at app.hulc.no, are processed under the agreement with the client and a separate data processing agreement where needed. This notice covers the website hulc.no and enquiries to us.
Providers
We use providers for hosting the website and for email. They process data on our behalf and on our instructions. If a provider processes data outside the EEA, this is done on a valid transfer basis, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for access to the data we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. You can also ask for restricted processing and object to the processing. Email post@hulc.no and we will reply within one month.
If you believe we process data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
Changes
We update this notice when the processing changes. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
